5-star Alpine chalet hotel with acclaimed restaurant, spa and Mont Blanc views in Megève

Perched at 1,100 metres in the French Alps with Mont Blanc as its backdrop, this 5-star hotel is arranged as a hamlet of private chalets and timber-framed Alpine dwellings set among gardens and meadows. It's a five-minute drive from Megève's village centre, close enough to feel connected but far enough to feel properly removed.

The architecture blends traditional Savoyard craftsmanship with contemporary design – think natural wood, stone, plush furnishings and big windows framing the mountains.

Across the hotel there are 33 rooms and suites, plus six beautiful standalone chalets, ranging from three to six bedrooms each. For groups wanting a mix of shared and private space, the combination of hotel rooms and chalets works well.

For meetings, the hotel has several flexible spaces: a private room seating 16 boardroom-style, restaurant spaces that convert to theatre (40), banquet (64) or U-shape layouts, and a bar area for cocktail-style gatherings up to 50. Smart screens, flipcharts and Wi-Fi are provided as part of their seminar packages. The chalets also work as breakout or brainstorming spaces for smaller groups.

The food here is a draw in its own right. The acclaimed restaurant focuses on seasonal, locally sourced mountain cooking, while the bistronomic bistro is perfect for more relaxed meals. There's also a beautifully designed bar serving cocktails made with garden-grown herbs alongside Savoyard bites.

Outside, there's a heated pool facing Mont Blanc, a wood-fired sauna, a Nordic hot tub, and a spa with an indoor pool, steam room and three treatment rooms.

Activities range from skiing and snowshoeing to dog sledding in winter, paragliding, hot-air balloon flights, hiking, mountain biking, canyoning and horse-drawn carriage rides through the village. The concierge team can also arrange helicopter tours and cable car excursions to the Mer de Glace glacier.
